Professional Background
Dr. White directs the Psychosocial Interventions Lab in the Department of Psychology. Her research addresses issues related to identifying processes across disorders and diagnoses. Dr. White's work aims to uncover the processes underlying developmental psychopathology in order to further appropriate treatments. She is primarily interested in studies targeted at improving quality of life outcomes for those with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and other forms of neurodevelopmental disorders. Dr. White also has a longstanding interest in co-occurring anxiety among those with ASD.
Personal Background
Dr. White has two sons who are currently in elementary school, Alden and Calvin. They, along with her husband, Dr. Bradley White, help her maintain perspective. In her free time, Dr. White likes long-distance running, baking, and spending time outdoors.

Treatment Study
Dr. White is the Principal Investigator for an NIH grant-funded study on a new program that targets successful transition of students with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) from high school to post-secondary education. Enrollment is open.
